What an online session is like

Working together online is private, relaxed, and every bit as personal as sitting in the same room. From wherever you feel safe — your home, your car, a quiet corner — we can do meaningful work together. Here’s exactly what to expect.

How it works

No apps to download, no complicated setup. Four simple steps.

Book a time that suits you

Choose a slot online or over the phone. You’ll receive a confirmation with a secure video link — nothing to install in advance.

Find a private, comfortable spot

Somewhere you won’t be interrupted — a spare room, your car, wherever feels safe. Have a glass of water and something to sit comfortably on.

Click the link when it’s time

At your appointment, click the link from any phone, tablet or computer. If tech ever plays up, we simply switch to a phone call — no stress.

We begin, gently

We start where you are. There’s no script to follow and nothing you have to say. We move at your pace, always.

Session length

Sessions typically run for around 60 minutes. Your free initial consultation is a relaxed 20 minutes — just enough to talk through what you’re looking for and whether we’re a good fit.

Private & confidential

We meet over a secure video link. What you share stays between us, held in confidence in line with professional standards. You’re always in control of your camera, your space and your pace.

Simple technology

All you need is a phone, tablet or computer and an internet connection. If the connection drops or tech isn’t your thing, we’ll simply continue by phone. It’s meant to be easy.

How to prepare

  • A quiet, private space where you feel safe to speak freely
  • A stable internet connection — or a phone, if you’d prefer a call
  • Headphones, if that helps you feel more private and focused
  • A glass of water, a blanket or anything that helps you feel settled
  • A few minutes beforehand to arrive, breathe, and settle in

Who online sessions suit

  • People anywhere in Australia who can’t easily travel to in-person sessions
  • Those who feel safer and more open in their own space
  • Busy people juggling work, family or shift work
  • Anyone in regional or remote areas with limited local support
  • Talk-based work, breathwork, mindfulness, guided somatic and Time Line Therapy sessions

Prefer to meet in person?

I also offer in-person sessions across North Queensland through mobile outreach. If you’d prefer to meet face to face, just let me know when you get in touch and we’ll arrange something that works for you.

An important note on safety

Online wellbeing sessions are not an emergency or crisis service. If you’re in immediate distress or danger, please call Lifeline 13 11 14 or Open Arms 1800 011 046 (both 24/7), or dial 000. My support is holistic and complementary — not a substitute for crisis, psychiatric or formal clinical care where those are needed.

Ready to try a session from home?

Start with a free, no-obligation 20-minute consultation. We’ll have a relaxed chat, and you can decide in your own time whether it feels right.
